I initially contacted this center in November 2022, I was looking to get a procedure done with my insurance coverage. They mentioned that I don’t have to be worried about insurance issues and they’ll deal with them. My insurance denied to cover for the procedure. It was when the fun fact about these people started. They didn’t communicate with me on time and waisted over a month of my time to tell me what’s going on. I had received the denial letter from my insurance stating the reason why it’s not covered. But this center disappointed me so badly. After waiting for a long period of time I received a call from them that your insurance will not cover this procedure and you go deal with your insurance. It was a pain for me to find out how can I fill and appeal. Long story short I found out that the doctor could do a peer to peer appeal with my insurance and explain the necessity of this procedure for me, but they didn’t! Unfortunately this clinic is not transparent enough and gave me a hard time.

The worst medical experience of my life. the team at this center is impersonal and unprofessional. Please do not go to this facility if you want quality care and service. the "dr" at this facility incorrectly placed my drainage tubes resulting in them cutting me open in the check up room with only local anesthetic which as they had me open with minimal pain aids for four hours i could feel everything. their lack of care has resulted in major scarring on the side of my chest due to their incompetence in placing drainage tubes. i get phantom pains still on that side of my chest. i have also received weird calls and e-mails from this facility. At first they contacted me through text stating that i owed them $300. They said I could venmo them to pay my outstanding balance. Of course I did not because this seemed like a scam. This went on for over 6 months. They came back 2 years after my surgery and said I owed thousands of dollars and were going to debt collectors. I keep asking for the itemized billing receipts so that I know what exactly this huge sum of money is for but they will not send it to me. They are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Truly incompetent care in every aspect. Terrible surgical technique, terrible bedside manner, terrible assistance from administration. there is so much i can say about how much i do not recommend getting gender affirming care from these quacks. save your money and your piece of mind.
