I searched for several months for the right surgeon for gynecomastia surgery. After my consultation with Dr. Azouz, I knew I was in the right place. From the moment I stepped into his office he made me feel comfortable and cared for. He was thorough in explaining the process and made sure to answer any and all questions I had. His entire staff was an absolute pleasure to work with, making the process flow smoothly. I can honestly say I felt just as much as ease the day of the surgery as I did leaving the consultation. The entire staff made me comfortable and relaxed through the entire process. I could not be more pleased with the results! Everything that was promised, Dr. Azouz came through for me and then some. They do not rush you but take all the time plus needed to explain , answer questions , make you feel comfortable . They are able to work well with different personalities young and mature. Undoubtedly the best decision I could have made choosing Dr. Azouz. My issue was a hernia that was protruding from my abdominal area. I had seen other doctors that didn’t understated the severity of my hernia. I’m 54, heavy set woman, who eats natural farm to table food (rarely processed food). I have worked out with a personal trainer for 4+ years. So I’m in decent/good shape. I walk 5ks often. I am very active. I say all this to let you know that meeting Dr. Azouz was an experience of instantly knowing that I had found a Doctor that truly understood the concerns I had about my health and this hernia that seemed to be growing! He made sure I understood that he could help me. After getting tests confirming the ‘angry hernia’, Dr Azouz confidently and honestly told me that he could fix it and that that surgery would be very difficult and complicated. He was honest. Told me it needed to happen sooner over later and why. Answered all my questions directly and never made me feel like I was anything but a wonderful human that needed a tough surgery. When you are faced with this type surgery, you don’t want anyone but the best. Someone that checks on you as needed. Responds to concerns and walks side by side with you thru the entire process. In my case he felt he needed 2 surgeons in OR for the duration of the surgery. I appreciated that attention to detail and treating me like a human and not a number. And the care since surgery has been just as focused. He has stayed close to my case after surgery because that was what was required in my situation. My body has thrown us some ‘curveballs’ and he is there. He and his partner in surgery have continued to be responsive to me even when what I really needed was reassurance. I highly recommend his office for any surgery you consider. He has given me a new life by helping me take my health to the next level! Only the best! And Dr Azouz is the best! 10/2/19 I am 14 months post surgery, and I am still improving. I look back on the past year + and cant imagine doing the things I can do now that I couldn't do then. Again, Dr. Azouz and Dr Azouz2 gave me the personal care that only dedicated doctors can give. It was tough healing over the first few months but they were there by my side the whole way. Seeing them now is special for they have given me a gift that most doctors would never consider because they don't understand what it's like to be heavy due to genetics and not lifestyle!
