For many years I carried around with a very big birthmark. Someone referred me to Dr Shoen. I made the appointment was able to get in fast. When I went for my appointment I found the receptionist was very friendly and so was all of the office staff. As soon as Dr Shoen saw me he said he could remove the birthmark for me. Two weeks later he performed the surgery and was able to remove the birthmark for me. He did an awesome job. I’m just about three weeks post op and I feel wonderful. I don’t look like I had that big thing all my life. I would recommend Dr Shoen to everyone he is an amazing surgeon. I’m very thankful to him for doing such an amazing job. If anyone ever needs a plastic surgeon Dr Shoen is the best. Thank you Dr Shoen I’m very happy with the results.

My entire experience was beyond amazing , the staff , the office and the Dr everything was great . He did an awesome job reconstructing what was there to make a normal looking finger tip and I'm back at work happy again . Thank you again for everything !

After many visits to various physicians to solve my issue, I finally found a patient, kind, professional who took the time to understand and diagnose my problem. The office staff were clearly following the leader in his calm, concerned and respectful character. The bonus was Dr. Shoen's expertise in solving the problem with extraordinary surgical skill. Dr. Shoen is highly respected throughout N.J. but exhibits a humility and concern for patient care that restores my faith in the medical field he pationately entered.

I stopped in the office to see when I could get an appointment. The first thing I noticed was how clean the office was as I headed to the window. I was met with a very friendly receptionist. I explained I didn't have an appointment, had never been there before but wanted to make an appointment and was given one for 2 days later. I thought how fast that was and relieved I didn't have to wait weeks or months. Anyway, she gave me paperwork to take home to fill out that would save time so I filled out all the necessary information. When I got to my appointment, I arrived early and was greeted by another friendly face. The doctor was prompt and pretty much on time. Once called in, I was warmly taken into a room told to take a seat and the doctor would be in shortly, which, he was. The office was warm, clean and not intimidating. When the doctor came in, he greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and extended his hand for a handshake. Then he did his thing, asking questions, trying to pinpoint where the issue is and then directed me to go for an xray which I did as it really was a short distance away. I returned to the office with the xray and the doctor came back with his diagnosis. He was nice, courteous and conservative not looking to go straight for surgery. In any case, I was very pleased with my first appointment at the office and wouldn't hesitate to go back if a need to in the future. An important thing I noted was I was treated with respect and wasn't rushed in any way. My questions were answered and he listened. Would I recommend him to others? I sure would. If you are loking for a doctor who knows what he's talking about, is mild mannered, has a good attitude, has a humble style, an office that is neat/ clean and staff friendly as well as helpful then this is the place to go. I found this doctor from the Internet, the write up was good and now I can say accurate having been there. Since I live in Edison it was a short drive.

I give Dr. SHOEN 6 stars, he is a very awesome plastic surgeon , if you need a pladtic surgeon i highly recommend him, he takes his time with you and answer every wueztion you have, i visit him in his monroe office, and to mention his receptionist barb, omg she is the best, i never had so much courteous of a office visit until i meet those 2. Keep up the good work.
