Dr. Sunny Park is a double board-certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who has extensive training, knowledge and expertise in performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries of the face and neck. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Park moved to the U.S. with her family when she was young. She grew up in Orange County and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dr. Park attended UC Berkeley where she received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology with Honors in Research, a minor in music, as well as a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH). Dr. Park received her Medical Degree (MD) from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There she completed her residency in Head and Neck Surgery at Penn State University, and was trusted to serve as Chief Resident. During her residency, she received the Best Scientific Research Award from the Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a Research Travel Grant from the Korean-American Otolaryngology Society. She was then chosen for a prestigious fellowship to study under one of the foremost authorities in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Fred Stucker, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

This review is going to be a little different not as a customer but as a former employee. Dr. Park is AMAZING! She has helped so many people in her community and gives back in every way she can. To most people, the face is very important and its scary knowing that one might lose a portion of their nose but have no fear, Dr. Park is here. From skin cancer to wounds, she will do her very best to help her patients heal. She also has inspired me heavily on my medical school journey. I believe she is a shining example of what a true physician should be. Thank You so much Dr. Park for everything!

I was tipped off from the get-go that Dr. Park was going to work out well. The ENT who referred me to her informed me that I need a septo-rhinoplasty in the very same sentence as "... And that's something a plastic surgeon would need to do, I don't do those, and that would be Dr. Sunny Park." It's not like Orange County has the smallest pool of plastic surgeons, and yet from the unhesitiating conviction of the ENT, I could've just as well have been in a land that had only one surgeon capable of performing the procedure. The ENT himself came as a very highly regarded referral, so I knew Dr. Park was someone special. And the rest of the story only gets better. So far, I'm two months out and I haven't been able to breathe like this for well over a decade, the last time my nose was broken. Dr. Park is an outstanding surgeon with a hilarious sense of humor, who exudes genuine care for her patients and her craft. I am tremendously grateful and could not recommend a surgeon higher.

Dr Park is wonderful. Not only did she take care of me medically, but she also listened to me, talked to me, and connected with me about other aspects of my life. She removed a cyst from my head and saved my hair! I was really worried about that and she was great. She talked me through everything and was transparent and thorough. Her staff was friendly and accommodating. She has my highest rating! Thanks again.

Dr. Park was referred to me by my dermatologist to complete a skin cancer treatment on my face. The surgery was on my forehead and required removing the remaining cancer, and properly closing the area, hopefully without scarring. Dr. Park explained the procedure and the expected heal time in a way that was easily understood by me. The surgery itself was very painless and the after surgery care was easy to follow. My surgery site is now almost invisible and hardly noticeable to someone who didn’t know I had surgery. I’m very pleased with the outcome, with Dr. Park and her staff. I recommend anyone who needs this type of care visit Dr. Park for a consultation..
