Dr. Beird is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. After his extensive training he decided to return to his hometown to be closer to family, practice medicine, and serve his community. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons; a Fellow of the American College of Surgery; and a Fellow of the American Association for Hand Surgery. Dr. Beird is also licensed and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Beird earned a B.A. in Biology from Albion College in Albion, Michigan before pursuing his M.D. from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Beird completed a residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio and then a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Beird has served the Saginaw, Bay City and Midland residents and medical community for 25+ years.
