Toby R Meltzer MD performs approximately 200 Gender Confirmation Surgery (GCS) cases per year. He performs both MtF and FtM genital reconstruction surgeries.
Dr. Meltzer works with a team for FtM GCS which includes both a Urologist and an OB/Gyn.
In addition, Dr. Meltzer performs Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) to feminize the face and body as well as standard cosmetic procedures.

Toby R Meltzer MD graduated from LSU Medical School in 1983 and is board certified in both General and Plastic Surgery. An active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, he started practicing at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1990 and began private practice in 1996 in Portland, Oregon.

In 2003 he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to expand his practice with privileges at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Campus at the Greenbaum Surgery Center and Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Campus.

In 2019 the Meltzer Clinic expanded and we also began offering our services at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

Gend her? I don't even know her! But seriously, Dr. Meltzer did a fantastic job on my orchiectomy. Super professional and knowledgeable, and his staff worked with my insurance and helped me get approval from them for the surgery. Awesome.

I did a Tracheal Shave with Dr Meltzer. Surgery was fine. But his office staff is lacking care, dependability. Due to I received a call from Jennifer multiple of times I called back within 30 minutes and was pretty much was told she’s busy and only if you have concerns she will call back which I do. The front office lady is extremely rude. Please avoid this place at all costs. My surgery appointment was suppose to use insurance but they failed to inform me a week prior. So I paid cash. My surgery got rescheduled 2 times due to one personal then one due to Dr Meltzer.

Writing this review to give thanks to the Dr and Staff at Dr Toby Meltzer clinic. I was nervous, and tired from traveling from Washington state to Arizona. The front desk person helped to fill out paperwork that was not completed, big help. The nurse and Dr Meltzer were helpful, thorough and friendly. I was looking forward to this consultation for a few months. They did not disappoint, now I’m looking forward to surgery next year. Thank you Dr Toby Meltzer and staff.

I absolutely love Dr. Meltzer and his staff. They helped me out with everything and were very friendly. I got top surgery from him coming up on 2 years on Dec 21st. He fit me right into the schedule, exactly when I wanted to get my surgery done. He did an amazing job on my chest, I get a lot of compliments on it and a lot of guys jealous of how fast/much my scars have faded. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Meltzer for anyone looking to get top surgery!
