Dr. Trang Thuy Vo-Nguyen, M.D., known to her patients as “Dr. V”, is the founder and Medical Director of The Virginia Institute for Surgical Arts located in Chantilly, Virginia. Dr. V, working with her team of qualified medical professionals, is recognized as one of the leading facial plastic surgeons in the nation. She is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. V is among a select group of board certified facial plastic surgeons that have attained the highest level of achievement in cosmetic surgical training, continuing education, and clinical experience.

Dr. V graduated summa cum laude in chemistry and obtained her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. She continued her training in Internal Medicine at the University of California and returned to the University of Minnesota for her residency training in Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery). Dr. V was then selected for a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport, LA.
