Dr. Troy Pittman is an award-winning, internationally recognized expert in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and body. Dr. Pittman is Board-Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and practices the full spectrum of Plastic Surgery procedures. He has specific interest and expertise in aesthetic surgery of the breast, including complex revision breast surgery. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Pittman performs a variety of non-surgical procedures in the office, including wrinkle relaxers and fillers, micro-needling and CO2 laser resurfacing.
In 2018, Dr. Pittman joined Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Michael Somenek to create Somenek+PittmanMD – Advanced Plastic Surgery, an upscale concierge plastic surgery practice in the West End area of Washington, DC, just steps from historic Georgetown. Dr. Pittman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society and the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons. Before starting his private practice, Dr. Pittman served on the faculty of both Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Pittman is the former director of the Resident Cosmetic Surgery program at both Johns Hopkins and Georgetown, as well as the former Director of Reconstructive Breast Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital.
