Training & Education

Dr. Cat earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Florida State University before earning her doctor of medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, where she also completed an interdisciplinary health policy and leadership certificate.

She then undertook her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and pursued additional fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive breast microsurgery.
