My Experience with an Ongoing Ear Issue In July of 2024, I started noticing a cracking sound in my ear whenever I ate. I thought it was just earwax, so I asked a nurse friend to flush my ear using saline and a syringe. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I then called Dr. Fisher’s office to schedule an appointment. The scheduler, Elena, was very rude and spoke to me in a condescending tone. She told me the earliest available appointment was at 6:45 a.m. in January—waiting time was more than three months away—and it was a “take it or leave it” type of situation. While waiting for the appointment, my symptoms got worse. On December 31, 2024, I developed vertigo. When I finally saw Dr. Fisher in January 2025, he looked in my ear and said there was some wax, but he wouldn’t remove it that day. I did a hearing test, which came back normal. He told me to watch a YouTube video and try the Epley maneuver for vertigo, and said if it didn’t work, I could come back for an MRI. Thankfully, the Epley maneuver helped, along with Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine. The vertigo went away and hasn’t returned. However, the original issue with my ear—the cracking sound—never resolved. So I scheduled another appointment and saw Dr. Fisher again today. I told him I could hear my heartbeat at night and suspected it might be a problem with the Eustachian tube, a blood vessel, or still wax. I also mentioned I had ear pain and swelling a week before, which made me think I had an infection. Dr. Fisher examined my ear and confirmed there was still some hard wax, but he didn’t remove it. Instead, he told me to buy Debrox ear drops, use 10 drops daily for a week to soften the wax, and then come back so he could remove it. I paid a $30 copay for this visit, but nothing was done to actually treat the problem. So, if you’re planning to see Dr. Fisher just for earwax removal, make sure you use Debrox for a week before your appointment—otherwise, you’ll waste time and money, and you’ll likely be charged again when you go back. I would not recommend this place.

Dr. Fisher ended up being the third ENT I saw about my tonsils and he was fantastic. He actually listens to you, and sincerely wants to help you. He was kind and caring and did a great job removing my tonsils. I can breathe so much better now when I sleep. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fishetr and Dr. Manchester are excellent(!!) doctors. Dr. Fisher cured a horrible ear infection for me and has cared for my ears without any returning infection for several years now. Dr. Manchester worked to find the perfect hearing aids for my significant hearing loss, and I could not be more pleased. They are kind and caring, and truly have the best interest of their patients at the forefront of their practice. I highly recommend them for anyone's Ear, Nose & Throat and hearing needs!

Maria - the office manager - has an absolutely disgusting attitude. Makes you not want to work with Dr.fisher. Sure, I’ve had swollen tonsils for over a month and a half now, so pain everyday is horrible. But when I call to ask what the surgery date is, Maria decides to sigh, give me uncontrollable attitude, and nonstop talking over me when I simply want to understand what I should be doing next. Just pay mind when you come into this building. And please please watch out for Maria. When you call the building, please ask for someone other than Maria. I promise you, you’ll thank me later.

Whole process and surgery was seem less. The office staff is fast, efficient, and friendly. The doctor did an excellent job on the deviated septum surgery and I recommend this office for ENT needs. Doctor is good at what he does. If you are looking for a chatty doctor who wants to know about your kids - maybe not the best fit as his time is limited and very busy. If you want someone who listens, and takes pride in his work and concerned about your needs, this is your guy. Was even able to follow up on a phone call after hours and talk to him about post surgery questions and have had excellent follow up.
