Sameer HalaniDr

Born and raised in Metuchen, NJ, Sameer Halani, MD, MSc, is the son of Indian-immigrant parents. For his undergraduate degree, he attended the respected Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He then completed his first Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Halani then returned to Emory University School of Medicine, where he was elected into the elite Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and graduated Cum Laude. During his medical school education, he was awarded a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to fund his clinical research and his second Master’s degree in Clinical Research.

Following medical school, Dr. Halani trained at The University of Texas Southwestern and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX, the number one plastic surgery residency program in the country at the time. There, he began perfecting the art of aesthetic surgery, publishing research articles advancing the field of plastic surgery, and earned multiple awards, including the 2022 Best Paper of the Year Award for Head & Neck Reconstruction in the prestigious journal, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Halani offers a wide scope of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures specializing in facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, and thighplasty surgeries. He is proud to have joined the practice of Dr. Yuki Nakamura, a prominent breast and body surgeon in Arlington, Texas. Dr. Halani resides in Dallas with his supportive, beautiful surgeon fiancée, Dr. Amanda Garza. In his free time, he enjoys partaking in competitive golf and tennis, learning about the biochemistry of wine, and traveling the world.
