Dr. Jonathan T. Nguyen is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Atlanta Plastic Surgery (APS), Atlanta's oldest plastic surgery group, founded in 1968. 

Dr. Nguyen boasts extensive experience and expertise in the field, practicing both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Emory University and was selected as the Administrative Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Nguyen graduated #1 in his class from the University of Louisville Medical School, where he was awarded several honors and accolades. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville, which he earned in 2011.

During his academic and residency career, he has received numerous awards, including the Mary A. Hilton Award for Excellence in Biochemistry, the Dr. Atwood P. Latham Memorial Prize in Anatomy, the Thomas P. Calhoon Physiology Memorial Award, and the Arch E. Cole Scholarship Award for academic excellence.

While being in practice, he has been honored with a Top Doctor designation in plastic surgery from Atlanta Magazine. He stays active in the academic community, talking at local and national meetings as well as educating medical students, residents, and fellows. He also stays up to date with the latest innovations in plastic surgery and serves as a key opinion leader for multiple companies.

Do not come to this practice. Tiffany, the office manager, is a liar who provides false information and will not honor her original statements. The financial department is just as bad by not honoring their cancellation policy in their financial agreement. The comments response is not true at ALL. Dr Mike Mizerbeigi and all his staff especially Lisa his scheduler and Lisa his surgical nurse are some of the best people I have encountered during all my medical experiences. I always felt important and heard with any call appt or email I sent. I was treated for breast cancer and Dr Mike did my immediate DIEP flap procedure. My follow up appointments and phase 2 surgery all happened quickly and perfectly timed for my healing. I would refer anyone anytime to use Dr Mike. My body looks and feels amazing I almost forget sometimes that everything has been medically created! He made me feel perfect and was all done in time for my wedding

Dr Mike was highly recommended to me by my breast surgeon who I selected to do my double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis. Dr Mike and my breast surgeon worked side by side to remove all the cancer and other breast tissue and then rebuild me. Dr Mike was able to use nerve grafting so that I retained full sensation after my mastectomy, which was important to me. My recovery was easy - I felt that both surgeons were as delicate as possible given the extent of the work needed. The results are beautiful. After the incision scars fade you would absolutely never know what happened to me. Dr Mike and his PA Lisa are highly professional and sympathetic and are very experienced in this specialty - their advice and recommendations can be trusted 100%.

Dr. Mirzabeigi performed my breast reconstruction surgery following a mastectomy. He is a kind, caring surgeon who explained my reconstruction options so I could easily understood my choices. He is patient with my questions and takes time during my appointments so that I don’t feel rushed. He is detail oriented and seeks perfection! I am happy with the results of my surgery. The staff at Atlanta Plastic Surgery are top notch - Dr. Mirzabeigi’s Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Allen, is terrific to work with. I have also reached out to the staff nurses for general questions and they have been very informative.

I love Dr. Mirzabeigi and Ms Lisa!!! Dr. Mirzabeigi is very polite and has a great bedside manner. He was patient when I was asking questions and did not rush to give me an answer, explaining everything to me. He did an excellent job on my surgery and I would highly recommend him and his staff.
