Michael Mirzabeigi is a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, as well as in pediatric plastic surgery. He completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he served as an Assistant Instructor in Surgery. The University of Pennsylvania is considered to be one of the premier programs in plastic surgery and hosts one of the highest volume microsurgical free flap breast reconstruction centers in the nation. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Mirzabeigi brings the latest in cutting-edge breast surgery, offering DIEP flap breast reconstruction, buttock/thigh-based tissue transfer, advanced breast implant techniques, fat grafting, and Breast Sensation Nerve Repair. In addition to cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, Dr. Mirzabeigi performs the full range of plastic surgery procedures – specializing in (but not limited to) facial aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, gender-affirming surgery, and a variety of body contouring techniques.

Deeply involved in medical research on a variety of topics, Dr. Mirzabeigi has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.  He has presented his work at a number of national and international conferences, specifically on topics regarding breast reconstruction and the tumescent facelift technique.  He currently serves as the Assistant Editor of the Breast Surgery section in Annals of Plastic Surgery.

Exceptional Service with Integrity Dr. Williams, along with the nursing staff and front office team, demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Their service was clearly centered around the needs and comfort of the patient and family. I was recently seen by Dr. Namnoum at this practice for my breast lift. From start to finish Dr. Namnoum, his nurse (Kim), and his scheduler (Cindi) made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. The consultation visit was very thorough and they were open to everything I wanted to accomplish while being straightforward with the recovery and final outcome. Leading up to my surgery, any fears I had were quickly alleviated by their compassionate team of professionals. My results are beyond what I could have ever imagined for myself and I highly recommend this procedure and this physician for any woman considering this.

Dr Mike Mizerbeigi and all his staff especially Lisa his scheduler and Lisa his surgical nurse are some of the best people I have encountered during all my medical experiences. I always felt important and heard with any call appt or email I sent. I was treated for breast cancer and Dr Mike did my immediate DIEP flap procedure. My follow up appointments and phase 2 surgery all happened quickly and perfectly timed for my healing. I would refer anyone anytime to use Dr Mike. My body looks and feels amazing I almost forget sometimes that everything has been medically created! He made me feel perfect and was all done in time for my wedding

Dr Mike was highly recommended to me by my breast surgeon who I selected to do my double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis. Dr Mike and my breast surgeon worked side by side to remove all the cancer and other breast tissue and then rebuild me. Dr Mike was able to use nerve grafting so that I retained full sensation after my mastectomy, which was important to me. My recovery was easy - I felt that both surgeons were as delicate as possible given the extent of the work needed. The results are beautiful. After the incision scars fade you would absolutely never know what happened to me. Dr Mike and his PA Lisa are highly professional and sympathetic and are very experienced in this specialty - their advice and recommendations can be trusted 100%.

Dr. Mirzabeigi performed my breast reconstruction surgery following a mastectomy. He is a kind, caring surgeon who explained my reconstruction options so I could easily understood my choices. He is patient with my questions and takes time during my appointments so that I don’t feel rushed. He is detail oriented and seeks perfection! I am happy with the results of my surgery. The staff at Atlanta Plastic Surgery are top notch - Dr. Mirzabeigi’s Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Allen, is terrific to work with. I have also reached out to the staff nurses for general questions and they have been very informative.
