Training & Professional Experience

Dr. Chike-Obi has traveled the world seeking the most rigorous training and education to perfect his craft. Born in Philadelphia, he spent his formative years in Nigeria and then returned to Philadelphia to begin his Ivy League education at The University of Pennsylvania.

He continued on to the top-ranked University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school. This early exposure to masters in breast and facial surgery was crucial in shaping Dr. Chike-Obi’s surgical philosophy and attention to detail in the operating room. He then completed a six-year residency at Baylor College of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, a renowned plastic surgery epicenter where the first silicone breast implant was developed.

In addition to his formal training, Dr. Chike-Obi took the additional time and effort to observe and learn different techniques from several leading surgeons in cities including New York, San Francisco, Dallas, and Chicago to further increase his surgical knowledge. He then spent the next 10 years perfecting his processes and developing the vision that has allowed him to deliver exemplary outcomes, all while focusing entirely on the person in front of him.
