Dr. Daniela Atencio’s passion for delicate and complex surgery inspired her to pursue a career in Plastic Surgery. She completed her training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She learned from nationally renowned plastic surgeons and obtained extensive training in the entire spectrum of reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. During her training, she also pursued scientific research focused on facial aesthetics with publications and presentations at national meetings.

Throughout her life, she was fortunate to travel and live in several countries. Those experiences allow her to appreciate different cultural backgrounds and communicate with her patients with empathy and clarity. Dr. Atencio also has a passion for wellness, fitness, and a balanced, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys doing yoga and Pilates to strengthen the body and mind. She believes in the power of self-love and confidence, and she hopes to make the transformation journey a fun and exciting process for her patients to achieve results well beyond the surface.
