Dr. Potter and her team are the best. I have never met a more confident doctor than Dr. Potter. I came from out of state just for Dr. Potter and I am so glad that I did. Her team is so nice and responsive. I highly recommend Dr. Potter. She’s the best and treats you like you are her sister!

So grateful my breast surgeon chose to work with Dr. Potter! She was friendly, patient, and kind. I felt safe in her care. AND she fights for what's right for women's bodies with the mean ol' insurance companies.

I am living a post-surgical outcome that never would have crossed my mind. I decided to pursue a prophylactic mastectomy as a mother of two young children....

If you’re an Ascension employee, don’t even try. Dr. Potter told me she would do my surgery at an Ascension facility and her office knew I had a very specific time frame to work with. But 2 months prior to my planned surgery (I notified them at least 6 months ahead of time) they told me I had to have surgery at St. David’s. They suggested over and over that I use St. David’s despite it not being in network with me. The sad thing is I liked Dr. Potter and I trusted her. But I didn’t even get an apology. They screwed me over and I had to scramble to get in with another surgeon to try to accommodate my timeframe. (I only had assistance during a specific time frame due to my family’s work schedule). Either her office needs to get it together, or she needs to not make promises she has no intentions of keeping. Or at the very least, fix your mistake and help patients find a new surgeon.

Dr. Potter is an artist. She is truly an amazing surgeon. Using evidence based practice and her attention to detail she has given me better results, than I could’ve ever expected after a DIEP reconstruction. I have a strong family history of breast cancer and decided to have a bilateral mastectomy with a DIEP Reconstruction. Dr. Potter and her team took excellent care of me in surgery and post operatively. They were accessible anytime I had a question. As a nurse, I did my research on plastic surgeons, and I’m so happy I made the right decision.

Dr. Potter is simply the BEST. Going through my breast cancer journey was so difficult. Every time I spoke to her I felt like I was being heard and she made me feel better about my situation. At the time I was looking for a DIEP Flap surgeon my insurance carrier decided to change the codes on payment. I actually had a surgeon tell me he would not do my surgery based upon this. He said he does not "work for free". Dr. Potter said she would do my surgery and the amount of time it took her to complete my surgery was half the amount of time it would have taken the other surgeon. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Potter and her staff. I traveled 3 hours to see her and it was worth it.

I can't say I "enjoyed" having a double mastectomy/reconstruction but Dr. Potter and her team have certainly made it as pleasant as it could possibly be!...

Is it weird to be sad when you're done with reconstruction and are told you don't need to be seen again for a whole year? Probably, but that's a testament...
