I was turning 60 and had many years of sun damage on my face. Over the last decades, I had been to a few surgeons about my wrinkles and skin condition. The information I received was not encouraging and it was scary, so I didn’t do anything. After moving to the Austin area, I decided to give it one last shot. I got a recommendation from a friend whose Mom just did what I wanted. In October 2024 I met Dr. Antunes. From my first contact with his office, I was treated so kindly. After explaining my issues and the items that bothered me, it was suggested I send pictures so Dr. Antunes could assess. I sent the pictures and waited to hear back. At this point a consultation in person took place. Dr.Antunes asked many questions about what I was looking to achieve. He wanted to make sure I was realistic and healthy enough to proceed. He then told me his thoughts and what could be achieved. He spoke of facial harmony which I loved……. Making sure both sides of the face were in harmony. I also wanted to look natural. Not like I’d just had work done. Right away I realized this was my guy and I fully trusted his advice. In January 2025 I had a my procedures. A Deep plane facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, upper eyelids, temporal lift and the Erbium laser. I have no regrets and I’m very happy I waited for the right surgeon, Dr. Marcelo Antunes - Face Austin.

My dentist recommended Dr. Antunes of Face Austin for my sinus issues. My nose was slowly collapsing due to extreme septum issues. The doctor and his team were friendly and helped put me at ease. I ended up paying cash since that was recommended by the financial department, but one of his staff said her insurance covered her procedure, so really look into that before you decide how to pay. All post op visits are included in the cost, which has been helpful. The procedure went well, and Dr. Antunes & staff have been attentive and available for any questions or issues that may come up. My septum was fixed, the bump on my ridge was corrected, and my nose is straighter than before. It is now wider than I expected (2 yrs post-op) but the doc says it will continue to go down throughout the healing process. Overall, I felt I was in good hands.

Dr. Antunes is literally a magician. I had a deep plane neck lift, bleph, under eye fat transfer, and temporal lift a few moths ago and get daily compliments from colleagues and friends on how amazing I look — people keep asking for my skincare routine and if I’ve lost weight. My results are incredibly natural and subtle while still stunning. Dr. Antunes was completely transparent with me on what my neck lift results could deliver. His bedside manner is the best in the business and his entire staff were caring, kind, but incredibly thorough. Recovery following all instructions and hyperbaric chamber was a breeze. I cannot recommend him enough!
