Dr. Picarella is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as chief administrative resident, an esteemed position among his colleagues. He went on to practice in Madison, MS, for over 12 years. As a New Orleans native, devoted husband to his stunning bride Manuella, and father of six, he chose to relocate to his home state of Louisiana.

Dr. Picarella chose plastic surgery because he is committed to patient-centered care while integrating state-of-the-art technology and expert surgical care to provide many cosmetic and reconstructive options to southern Louisiana. His daily mission is to provide elite, innovative, operative techniques delivered by a compassionate surgeon, focused exclusively on obtaining the best outcome for his patients.
