As both a woman and a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Bourgeois strives to be a strong advocate for all of her patients. She was born and raised in Michigan and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After graduation, she relocated to New Orleans to attend Tulane University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bourgeois completed her integrated Plastic Surgery residency training at the University of California Irvine. During this time, she authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and plastic surgery textbooks on topics including breast surgery, wound healing, and facial reconstruction. Dr. Bourgeois had the opportunity to train alongside some of the foremost plastic surgeons in the country and learn cutting-edge surgical techniques.

She has been practicing in Baton Rouge since August of 2017. Dr. Bourgeois has built strong relationships with her patients and enjoys working at the amazing hospitals and surgery centers in Baton Rouge.

Her special interests are cosmetic surgery of the breast and body and reconstructive surgery for breast and skin cancer. She loves that every day provides a new challenge to provide the best outcomes for her patients while providing compassionate and complete care.

Dr. Bourgeois lives with her husband, a New Orleans native, who is also a physician. She is a new mom to her baby girl, Juliette, who was born in March 2021. Outside of the office, she enjoys travel, spending time with her family and goldendoodle, Stella, and exploring Baton Rouge.
