Dr. Dean is a 1983 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Ochsner Medical Institution in New Orleans, LA. He trained in plastic and reconstructive Surgery, as well as hand surgery at East Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, Norfolk Virginia. He was the chief resident there in 1990.
Dr. Dean joined Associates in Plastic Surgery in 1997 and continues to enjoy the complete spectrum of plastic surgery including cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, procedures to improve body contour, and facial aesthetic surgery.

Feb 22, 2019Dr. Cox changed my life! He is honest, compassionate and has exceptional bed side manner. Dr. Cox gave me realistic options and wouldn't promise me results that he couldn't give me. The office was clean and I hardly had to wait to be seen. Overall I had a great experience and I'm looking forward to working with Dr. Cox and his staff in the future!

Nov 16, 2018Dr. Dean is an amazing surgeon but the Mickey Mouse outfit running his office is the absolute worse. I was billed 800 after my surgery. I sent my debt card info on their invoice. My card was charged 2x. I contacted my bank and they urged me to have APS fix their mistake bc if the bank disputes the charge it cld take 10 days and my acct is frozen. I called the office 3x this week begging a pleading to fix my acct so I cld gave money for Thanksgiving groceries. They refused to fix it. So I'm having to dispute through the bank I hope the Office Manager and accountant that did this to me have a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you use this place DON'T pay with a debt/credit card info through invoice ....they'll steal your money. I confidently believe they didn't help me reverse their charge intentionally

Jan 30, 2018Dr. Cox is one of the best plastic surgeons in Louisiana! His bedside manner is amazing, along with his staff willing to help with any questions before and after my surgeries. He has done 2 procedures on me one being a breast reduction and the other a tummy tuck. Both times he personally called me to check on me the day after my surgery. He is also easy to get in touch with after hours which was a relief for me. I would choose him and his staff for any of plastic surgery needs!

Oct 18, 2017I was referred to Dr. Dean and had a breast reduction. This was one of the best decisions I've made. Dr. Dean did a wonderful job, it changed how I feel about myself. Dr. Dean put my satisfaction as his priority. He is very warm and easy to talk to, he listened and did what I asked. I started as a G cup and wanted to be smaller but also wanted to stay proportioned to body size since I am not a small figured woman. I am now a full C cup and could not be more pleased with the results of my procedure, so pleased that I went back to him for a tummy tuck and was treated with the same expertise and poise as was given the first time. Most would not look at elective plastic surgery as life changing but with the right physician and staff, it can be. The office staff is very professional and helpful as well. I felt as though as I was in good competent hands and glad I chose Dr. Dean. I have recommended him to many friends and family and will continue to do so.
