Jonathan Frankel, MD is an award-winning, double board-certified surgeon specializing in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in the Cleveland area. He has a unique, in-depth understanding of the form and function of the face.

He is also a clinical instructor at the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, where he teaches resident surgeons advanced techniques in facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Frankel is a Cleveland native who returned home upon the completion of his surgical training. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to achieve a Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he received the Medicine Legacy Award. Dr. Frankel excelled during his five-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center, and was then selected for a prestigious fellowship of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio.

It couldn’t not have gone any smoother or easier . The staff is delightful and very attentive. I could easily be friends with any of them . Dr . Frankel is the best of the best ! I’ve worked in the beauty industry for over 35 years and have yet to see the talent from any other dr. He is top notch, artistic , creative and knows what he’s going to do with each individual person .

Dr. Frankel is absolutely amazing. I researched the procedures I wanted very thoroughly for several years. Prior to deciding on Dr Frankel, I met with several other plastic surgeons. Dr. Frankel was different. He listened carefully and understood exactly what I was looking to do. I felt that he really understood my goals and explained everything very well. I am beyond excited with my results and feel it is exactly what I wanted. I am so glad I selected him for my procedures. He is fantastic! I would 1,000% recommend him. The staff is also great. Very kind and thorough. I enjoyed my interactions with them. I always felt like I was in great hands.

Dr. Frankel and his entire staff are absolutely impeccable!! I recently underwent a rhinoplasty and I couldn't be more impressed by the results and the whole experience!! My biggest fear was selecting the best provider for this procedure and Dr. Frankel is without a doubt the best! I feel finding his office at this time in my life was perfect for me and the natural look I wanted!

I had a deep plane face lift and neck lift. The results were everything i hoped they could be and the responses from friends and acquaintances have been universally positive. I am convinced that Dr Frankel is the best face surgeon in Cleveland and one of the best in the country/world. He is meticulous and scientific but also compassionate and caring. His wonderful attitude on surgery (and life) extends to his office culture. Dr. Frankel and his nurse, Sarah, were absolutely incredible. Through out all of my appointments and the day of my procedure Dr. Frankel was nothing short of amazing and always on top of everything. I was very nervous the day of surgery and the staff in pre-op and post-op were amazing as well. They eased my nerves and walked me through everything. Finding a good provider can be challenging. Dr. Frankel and Sarah have set the bar quite high and are just the best of the best!
