Steve LeeDr

Dr. Steve Lee is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist. Dr. Lee received his undergraduate degree from UCLA. He then continued his studies at Dartmouth Medical School where he received his medical degree. While at Dartmouth, Dr. Lee discovered that he was fascinated with anesthesia, its effect on physiology, and its interaction with pharmacology. Pursuing that interest, Dr. Lee completed his residency at Harvard, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he learned that anesthesia is so much more than just pharmacology; rather that Anesthesiologists have a much greater role in ensuring safety and comfort to patients and their families during the perioperative period.

After completing his residency, Dr. Lee was drawn to the Pacific Northwest for its natural beauty and outdoor activity opportunities. He and his wife planted roots in the greater Seattle area in 1999, and has called this home since then.

Dr. Lee is passionate about our ambulatory surgery center home model where taking care of a surgical patient doesn’t just start and end only on the day of surgery. He believes the best outcome is achieved by including preoperative patient preparation and postoperative follow-up. With nearly 30 years of clinical experience, he has honed his skills in all aspects of the surgical home model to ensure the utmost safety and comfort of and for surgical patients. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids and many outdoor activities including cycling, skiing, hiking, and golfing here in the PNW.
