Stellar, exceptional professionals from the staff all the way through to the nurses and surgeons. I had been suffering and dealing with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for years. A major, sad life event really pushed my symptoms over the edge. The only other hand surgeon in Bellingham I could locate could not have even had a consultation appointment with me for 3 months after I spoke with scheduling. I had not initially been aware of this practice, and I'm SO glad to have found them. Two hand surgeon specialists are fantastic. The consultation (maybe as week later) and surgery (two weeks later) were scheduled in a reasonably timely manner. I had already had my electrical conductance test at Fyzical Therapy, which while quite an unpleasant battery of tests, the test confirmed the severity and specifics of my symptoms, so the surgeon knew precisely where to do what. I am happy with my decision to use only local anesthetic (lidocaine). I asked a friend to take me home just in case I felt weird. But I defintiely could have driven as I had not at all been sedated, and my hand was numb and in no pain. The procedure itself took maybe 15 minutes. There were a couple of hours waiting around simply by the nature of a surgery center, so that was no big deal. In summary, I'd give 6 gold stars if I could. Most folks aren't super jazzed about having surgery, but the non-invasivenesd, short recovery time, snd success rate of CTR endoscopy was such a blessing to alleviate years of annoyance/debilitating injury.

I can’t say enough. I had a biopsy at my dermatologist and the result was too extensive to be removed in office so I chose to call Dr Blackburn’s office. They had me in as quick as they could since timing was important. After a consultation I was scheduled for the next week. I was offered 3 types of anesthesia and the removal was discussed in depth. The surgery center part of the office was great. The nurses and anesthesia dr were top notch, the whole thing was seamless. Follow up care has been great also. Would totally recommend.

My wife had two hand surgeries at this place. First time they were 2 hours late for surgery but gave us no notice. They sent her home with no pain meds following the first surgery and it was rough. Turns out they forgot to prescribe them. The second surgery they gave a prescription after the procedure. Waiting in a parking lot of a pharmacy 2 1/2 hours following a surgery isn’t what anyone wants. The prescription should have been filled out prior to surgery or at least during so the meds could be ready. The staff is very friendly, the facility is clean and the doctor seems to understand hands very well. But there is room for improvement.

I was seen by Dr Balckburn for a few months following a minor hand fracture. After it supposedly healed, I started to have increasing and extreme pain. I brought my concern to him several times and each time he dismissed me, talked over me and just sent me to X-ray. I even asked for an MRI and I was told I would only get one if "he agreed with me". I got the MRI from another dr and found the fracture never healed. I needed hand surgery. I was treated like I was crazy. I'm sure he is a good plastic surgeon but this was one of my worst dr experiences.

Excellent experience. Professional, friendly, efficient staff, nurses and physician, Dr Whitney. I felt safe and secure. I was well informed on Preop and post expectations and instructions with follow up calls. Highly recommend the group and pleased with my results.

Love this place! I would trust them with my life. I read reviews with a grain of salt as I've noticed some sound more like revenge than a true review. My...
