Dr. Chau feels strongly that patient education, individuality, honesty and careful surgical planning are the necessary components for successful outcomes of plastic surgery. It is important to take the time to educate the patients about their own unique anatomical and physiological differences between the patient’s own body make up and their desired result.
When this is explained many patients become more realistic about what can and cannot be changed by plastic surgery. Each person has a unique physical appearance and self image as well as a desired level of change. This desire for improvement is carefully listened to and evaluated prior to surgery.

My daughter had an abscess on the top of her mouth and needed immediate surgery but not a single oral surgeon in south east Michigan would take our insurance and the ones that would we’re afraid to preform the surgery. We met this guy by gods grace. He was doing the rounds at the children’s hospital we were at out of desperation and he didn’t hesitate. He fixed her up, and she was back to normal in a couple days. I spent time looking this man up tonight just to thank him. He’s a good guy and a confident doctor.

Sep 26, 2024I can’t say enough about Dr. Chau and the office staff.
I’d gone to a previous plastic surgeon for an evaluation, and was left feeling apprehensive and nervous instead of happy and excited.
It was a night and day when I saw Dr. Chau and he explained with *excitement* what he could do for me. He was excited with me. Praised my hard work at losing weight.
I left feeling without a doubt that he was the right person, someone who cared about the quality of work he does and really enjoyed making a difference for people.

But in truth, it was more than just the exceptional job he did, but how he and his staff made me feel walking in there (and after).
They’re all so friendly and warm, shared in my excitement even in the beginning, but also the encouragement I received at follow-up appointments. It felt like seeing old friends who cared about me.

He performed lipo on my thighs, arms, performed lipo 360 and an umbilical hernia repair. I have know him for over 20 years he previously performed breast augmentation and a mini tummy tuck 20 years ago.
I am a health care provider. I highly recommend him due to his attention to detail and commitment to his patients. He is realistic and honest regarding the surgical plan. He is METICULOUS! I have personally worked with many plastic surgeons in the Metropolitan Detroit area, he is the only one I trusted with such a large procedure.
Dr. Chau is an artist. He thinks about each patient as an INDIVIDUAL. He is honest and transparent. My procedure was very extensive due to the various areas being worked on and my hernia.
He uses STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT! Vaser 360 which not only removed my fat but TIGHTENED my skin. I look AMAZING! His team is also equally invested in the patient outcome. The entire clinic is professional, but also made me feel like family from start to finish.
I highly recommend Dr. Chau because he takes his time to ensure his clients get the best outcome possible. I also think his prices are extremely fair and his team explains all of the costs.
He’s a FIVE STAR PLASTIC SURGEON AND HUMAN.

Aug 30, 2024Dr Chau and his staff are wonderful I’m 3 weeks into my post surgery. I had a breast reduction and I feel so much lighter. Dr Chau work is awesome I can’t wait to see my finish results. He explains all steps on what’s to come he is truly funny because I was a nervous wreck and he made me feel better.
