Dr. Neil Vranis graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University. He received a scholarship to attend the University of Maryland, where he completed four years of medical school.  During his time there, he performed research at the renowned R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, which specializes in caring for patients with significant facial injuries and mangled extremities.  Working at this high-volume trauma center sparked his interest and passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery.  Subsequently, he completed his residency training at the New York University Langone Health – Hansjorg Wyss Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, considered one of the premier plastic surgery residency programs in the country. Training under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Eduardo Rodriquez, world-renowned plastic surgeon who successfully performed the first full-face transplant, Dr. Vranis had the opportunity to learn all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.  To further deepen his knowledge and refine his surgical skills in complex and revision cosmetic procedures, Dr. Vranis was selected to finalize his training at the prestigious Marina-Rox-Ghavami Aesthetics fellowship specializing in complex aesthetic procedures (rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, deep plane facelifts & complex revision breast surgery).
