Dr. Blake Raggio is a distinguished double board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is driven by a rare combination of compassion and attention to detail, reflected in every patient encounter and procedure he performs. His passion to help patients look and feel their best is what originally drove him toward the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. A commitment to these values and his patients is what has propelled him towards the top of the field. Dr. Raggio focuses his surgical procedures exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery of the face. He specializes in advanced Rhinoplasty and Deep Plane Facelift and Necklift procedures.

Dr. Raggio is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) certified surgeon, meaning his education, training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation and meet the high standards of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Part of the FACS credentialing process includes a peer evaluation, involving input from fellow surgeons or colleagues who can attest to the applicant’s professional qualifications, ethics, and clinical competence.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. Raggio’s extensive credentials began with attending LSU for his Bachelor’s degree and then obtaining his Medical Degree (MD) at the LSU School of Medicine of New Orleans. Dr. Raggio then completed an extensive Head & Neck Surgery residency at the prestigious Tulane University Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Raggio undertook a highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto with world-renowned surgeon, Dr. Jamil Asaria. Here he focused on perfecting his techniques in advanced Rhinoplasty, Hair Transplant, and Facial Rejuvenation. Following training, Dr. Raggio obtained double board certification, scoring in the top 5% in the nation on his Facial Plastic Surgery board examination.
