Dr. Halka earned his medical degree (M.D.) from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He then performed a residency in general surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Halka's top-notch level of training continued with a plastic surgery fellowship at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio.
Dr. Joshua Halka is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery and is board eligible for the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
