Dr. Michael Plastini is excited to bring his exceptional expertise in plastic and cosmetic surgery to Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Plastini is double-boarded, with certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Plastini graduated with full honors from Florida State University and obtained his MD degree from the University of Miami. Dr. Plastini completed his plastic surgery training at the world-renowned University of Miami program many luminaries in plastic surgery have called home including the famous Dr. Ralph Millard.
Michael Plastini, MD is a native Floridian born and raised in Fort Lauderdale who specializes in plastic and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Plastini specializes in liposuction, tummy tuck, and other body sculpting procedures as well as cosmetic breast surgery. He also performs both operative and nonoperative facial rejuvenation including facelift, Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, and laser treatments. Dr. Plastini has a personal interest in cosmetic breast and body procedures including abdominoplasty. He carries privileges at Boca Regional Hospital as well as Boca West Medical Center.
Dr. Plastini is also an avid boater, diver, and educator. Dr. Plastini serves as volunteer faculty for the University of Miami Plastic Surgery Program and serves on the American Society of Plastic Surgery Continuing Education Committee as well as the Young Plastic Surgeons Steering Committee. Dr.Plastini prides himself on offering the most up-to-date procedures and treatments to his patients to fulfill their ideal aesthetic goals. His goal with every patient is to provide the best results with minimal recovery or downtime.
Dr. Plastini has participated in research throughout his career. Dr. Plastini has also had the honor of presenting his research at local, regional, and national conferences with numerous publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals including the Aesthetic Society Journal.

Really messed up my stomach still have pain and I had two completely looking breasts even his nurse had made a comment to me. Never told me he didn’t do Brazilian butt lift when said wanted that he said do breasts first. Long story way short his nurse ( same one ) told me he doesn’t do that but told me after my stomach and breasts were done. When ur suppose to do the Brazilian first. He also told me was ok to do these procedures with him at the current weight I was which was too heavy for my height. I had to get corrective surgery by the plastic surgeon right down the street from him. So after spending 34k to dr Handal and he had me pay for the 45 mins the anesthesiologist went over 8 hours and 45 mins which is insane for outpatient. ( never would of done both had known that). Was told should by 5 hours. Ended up having to pay about 14k for corrective surgery. The other surgeon discounted me Bigtime. I wasn’t his first correction they said from here. There is a lot more things but that’s the short version. I don’t like to do this but I don’t want someone else to spend 34k and have to go through this all. My name on chart is under Amy Ames surgery was done 7/7/22.

I recently contacted Dr. Handal to request a laser treatment for a facial scar. Since I’m traveling overseas for Christmas, I was hoping to have the procedure done beforehand. He immediately reassured me, saying, “No problem—come in and I’ll fit you in.” I visited the office three days later and was welcomed with genuine warmth. My appointment was around noon, and afterward I was even invited to join the staff for lunch and coffee a gesture that truly reflects the caring environment they’ve created. Later in the day, Dr. Handal performed the laser treatment. The procedure was completely painless and surprisingly quick. I was amazed by the immediate improvement; I didn’t expect the scar to smooth out so dramatically right away. A few days later, now that the redness has subsided, I’m even more impressed with the results. During the same visit, I also received Botox injections in my masseter muscle for TMJ. That procedure was equally smooth, comfortable, and expertly performed. I’ve had several treatments and surgical procedures done in this office, and each experience has reinforced my trust in Dr. Handal. He is deeply passionate about his work and consistently goes above and beyond for his patients. I wouldn’t let anyone else work on my face, his skill truly sets him apart. I’ve always wanted a natural look, and Dr. Handal excels at achieving exactly that. He has an exceptional understanding of balance, proportion, and the subtlety required to maintain natural results. Not all doctors are created equal; it takes years of experience, vision, and technical mastery to deliver this level of excellence. Very rarely do I leave reviews, positive or negative- however this is such an important decision and choosing the best surgeon for your procedure is often misleading due to paid advertising campaigns and magazine editorials set up by PR firms. I would never recommend a plastic surgeon unless I had first hand experience, as it happens I have also seen the work of Dr Handal on a few others also. Handal Plastic Surgery hidden discreetly in Boca doesn’t advertise because their client base are all either return clients or new consultations via word of mouth. The man is an artist who understands the mathematical angles and symmetry that create ideal facial features. Personally, the warmth, humility and feeling of being treated as a member of the ‘Handal Surgery family’ coupled with the results and post op care, is why I wouldn’t want to send my mother or friends to anyone other than Dr Handal ❤️

Dr. Handal is far more than the most professional and talented cosmetic surgeon in South Florida, he is a genuinely extraordinary person that displays an unparalleled level of care. I am forever grateful to Dr. Handal, and his amazing staff for everything they’ve done for me. My situation was cancer related and I required a skin graft to close a large hole in my leg where the cancer was removed. It was deep and I never expected my leg to look the same again prior to the operation. As of right now, I’m not even done healing yet (surgery was only a few weeks ago) and I can already tell electing Dr. Handal to execute this procedure was the best decision I could have made. I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Handal and I love love love my results! Paige at the front desk was very sweet and friendly and helpful. Amanda, the nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and educated and followed up with me for any help that I needed. Dr. Handal answered my questions and concerns any hour of the day. He’s been working on my family members for years, and now my mother is looking into coming down to have a scar revision done by him! He is a one stop shop And highly recommended by me.
