Robert D. Klausner, MD, FACS has been selected for inclusion in the Consumer's Research Council's Guide To America's Top Physicians annually since 2005.   Robert D. Klausner, MD, FACS has also been selected by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor every year since 2009.
Dr. Klausner has admitting privileges at both Downtown Baker NCH Hospital  and North Naples Hospital.  he is currently the division chief of head & neck Surgery for NCH.  Dr. Klausner received his medical degree in 1988 from the University of Pennsylvania which is the nation's first hospital, followed by a one-year, general surgery internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  He then completed a four-year residency in Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and one year of further advanced post-graduate training in Facial Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery through the fellowship program of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Klausner was smart and savvy enough to determine that the dizziness I had in November was being caused by a stroke rather than a Ménière’s episode attack and had me get an MRI to confirm it. I’ve fully recovered thanks to his instructions to get to a hospital for treatment immediately. I’ve been going to Dr. Klausner for several years for Ménière’s disease treatment. He and his office staff are always friendly and conscientious.

Dr. Klausner's office is very professional and knowledgeable. The doctor is on time for his appointments and takes time to listen to your issues and concerns. Dr. Klausner is very personable as is his office staff. After listening to your issues, he suggests any testing needed and gives you a follow-up appointment. He is very gentle when cleaning wax from ears. I would highly recommend this doctor for any of your ear, nose and throat concerns.

Dr. Klausner is an exceptional physician with a tremendous knowledge and understanding of EN&T. He has treated me for several years and I find his answers and explanations to questions I have to always be understandable. He is a Doctor who cares greatly about his patients and his office and staff share that concern. Also, if there's an answer to a medical issue he reaches out to find the best doctor or hospital to meet the need. I highly recommend him to everyone regardless of age.

Dr Klausner has taken care of my dad for several years. He is kind, caring and knowledgeable. He spends time with each patient and the staff is great. It is easy to get hold of the office and the follow up is outstanding. Recently my dad went to Dr Klausner with an concern in his throat. Dr Klausner verified the throat was fine but didn’t stop there. He ordered other tests that identified his problem and coordinated with my fathers doctor in that speciality. He went well beyond what I have experienced other doctors would have done and his timely actions may a positive impact in his care.

Dr. Klausner is not only a phenomenal doctor, but also a phenomenal person who truly cares about your wellbeing. His office staff are very nice and professional- Kim is the sweetest! Not many people can say getting their tonsils out is a great experience; they made it as comfortable and easy as it could’ve been and he went above and beyond to make sure I was feeling okay post-surgery. I had chronic sinusitis/sore throats since I was young and I feel like a new person. Thank you so much Dr. Klausner!
