Dr. Richard Barnes, D.O., began practicing with Ear, Nose, Throat & Plastic Surgery Inc. in 1997. He earned his medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, IL. He completed surgical training with residencies at the University of Iowa, the University of California, the University of Colorado at Denver, as well as fellowships in Facial Plastic Surgery in Palm Desert, California, and Otology in Anchorage, Alaska, and St. Louis, Missouri. He previously held the position of Chief of Staff at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital.

Dr. Barnes is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Oro-Facial Plastic Surgery. He obtained a fellowship with the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 2003.
