I had breast implant removal/explant under local anesthesia in the office with Dr. Wu and I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. From the initial consult, where photos were taken and she was able to show me a digitally rendered version of what I could expect with each option, I felt heard and my concerns respected. I lost a lot of sensation after having breast implants placed and a lift previously (with a different surgeon) so frankly, I wanted to be done with the implants with as little intervention as possible. I had the option to do explant with a lift with full anesthesia or just the removal under local anesthesia. I chose the 2nd option. Alma was very kind and helpful in explaining the administrative side of scheduling, payment, etc. The nurse Susan was super sweet and caring and really helped me feel at ease, particularly just before and during the procedure. The procedure itself was more “surgery-like” than I was expecting since it was just local anesthesia (you are in an OR suite on an OR table) but Dr. Wu and the rest of the staff were great at keeping me comfortable, talking me through the procedure, and just overall making it a positive experience. I am four days post-op now but feeling so much better having my implants removed. I didn’t have complications with them aside from the numbness and altered sensation from the original surgery (no capsular contracture, rupture, etc) they just weren’t what I wanted any longer. I follow up in the office in 10 days but I’ve been able to manage any discomfort with just Tylenol after the first day. I am so so glad I decided to have the implants removed and that I chose to have the procedure with Dr. Wu.

Melissa is THE BEST! She never over does anything or sells you anything that you don’t need. She only recommends a what would be best for you and your skin type. She listens to you. I love that she is always up to date on the newest procedures and skin care, Love love love Melissa and this office!

I came in to see Lisa F. about trying to heal years of damage I had done to my face with compulsive skin picking that was exacerbated by mild acne and stress. From the first session, Lisa listened to my specific issues and goals for my skin and we formulated a plan based off of my unique triggers in order to stop the root of the issue, not just to fix the consequences after the fact. Initially, some of the steps we tried to implement weren’t very effective, but my favorite part is that Lisa processed my feedback during our second session and worked with me to come up with another set of steps to try. And….it has been the best thing anyone has done to help improve my quality of life!! My skin has gotten exponentially better, but so has my avoidance and control over urges. I do not waste my precious family time at night in front of the mirror, or wake up an hour earlier than necessary to make sure I put on a full face of makeup everyday (and I don’t have to make sure I have concealer with me at all times to reapply, which feels amazing). I was able to go to the beach with friends and actually put my head under water, with the freedom of not having to make sure that no one could see my face because of open spots or scabs. Everything has healed so nicely and Lisa has been a major part of finding my “secret sauce”. This has meant implementing trigger avoiding and relaxation strategies, a healing and brightening skin care routine, and microneedling sessions. When I say that my experience with Lisa has been life changing so far, I am not exaggerating!

I would like to start off with absolutely amazing! I have had multiple surgeries from Dr. Wu and Dr. Gregg and by far the most professional and amazing surgeons. From the initial time of consultation, to surgery, and post care has been a truly easy and life changing experience for me. Anytime you go under surgery, it’s a scary process but Dr. Wu and Dr.Gregg made it very easy and calming. They reviewed all medications, processes and procedures thoroughly. They provided safe care through all stages of the surgical procedure and reviewed all post care instructions with great detail and made sure I was fully aware of what to do and if there were any concerns at all that they would be present for anything I needed. To say my surgeries were a huge success is understated because they were exemplary and magnificent. I couldn’t have asked for better results. They both are truly wonderful surgeons and their bedside manner should be taught to all medical staff and doctors. They are more like family now! I will be going to them for any and all future procedures and I trust them implicitly with my family and friends as well. You will not be disappointed at all. I can’t say enough about this dynamic duo!

I recently had a breast reduction surgery on April 26, 2023. The first thing that comes to mind with this practice is the care and time they took to explain everything to my husband and I. Dr. Cindy Wu had impeccable bedside manners and put our minds at ease throughout the whole process. The over communication via text was an extra special touch for my IT Project Manager husband who appreciates being in the know. It was a scary and life altering journey that was cushioned by an incredible and communicative staff that made us comfortable and educated throughout the entire surgical procedure. My thanks to everyone on staff that day and on the other visits, both leading up to and follow up appointments.
