Plastic Surgery Institute of Dayton is awesome!!! I’d been contemplating a breast lift (mastopexy) for over 8 years now. I was very nervous about it, but after meeting with PSID’s team and Dr. Fox, my fears were calmed. Dr. Fox answered all my questions & addressed all concerns before I even asked them! He is an artist! He is very meticulous & detail oriented. He truly knows his craft. I recommend him 100x over. I’m a little over 7 weeks post op and am so happy with the results! I’m so happy with them that I’m planning another procedure with them to take care of aging eyelids :)

I have had the privilege to have Dr Jason hedrick be my plastic surgeon for the last 5 years. Having a 50-cent size piece taken out of my skull because of cancer he worked his magic to pull my head together and has pulled my head together a few times after that! He always tells me best case scenario and worst case scenario so I have some idea what to expect. I appreciate his professionalism and also his sense of humor! He knows when to be serious and knows when he can joke with me and I appreciate that but probably the most thing that I appreciate is the fact that when I arrive in the operating room and ask someone to pray for me or pray with me he is the first one which tells me this is not a job for him, it's a ministry! God bless you Dr Hedrick!

On 12/6/25 I was assaulted. 12/7/25 was referred to Dr.Fox. His staff was amazing in getting me in and scheduled for emergency surgery. Dr Fox has been amazing and very helpful. He has a subtle sense of humor and a good bedside manor. Very respectful and courteous. They have always done their best to meet scheduled appointments. Would highly recommend Dr Fox and his wonderful team to anyone!

Dr. Hedrick is a very special surgeon. Extremely compassionate and caring. After a two and a half year battle, he worked with my Dr. Samuels to do what needed to be done. He took on a big challenge and came up with a plan for a difficult situation. I feel beautiful with healthy skin. Most importantly he listened. I will never be able to thank him enough.

My wife was a prior patient of Dr Fox a few years ago; everything then was really good. I saw him last month to have a lesion removed from each hand. He isn't very personable at all. Seemed actually irritated that I was there. He stated what he would do, then left the room. On the day of the excision, everything went well, and he seems to be very good at what he does, but he's just not a friendly person at all, and again, seemed like I was bothering him being there. Both sets of stitches broke, a day apart, in spite of being extremely careful, and had to be restitched. I don't blame him for that, things happen. On the re-do, he again seeemed completely irritated. A resident did the second set of stitches, and she was very pleasant. On the day he removed the stitches, he showed me the pathology report long enough for a fast glance then grabbed it out of my hand before I could even read it. Each time I was there, I greeted him politely, "Hello, how's it going?", etc, and he didn't even answer or acknowledge any of it. It bordered on just being aloof or rude. If you're after a surgeon with really good skills, Dr. Fox probably won't disappoint you at all. If you're hoping for a friendly or kind person, he's not your guy. Maybe he's got something going on, it happens to us all at some point, I get it. Maybe he's mad my problems weren't worth thousands of dollars, who knows? Based on prior experience, I was expecting a nicer guy I guess. Probably won't go back or recommend.
