Dr. Mino is my amazing surgeon, and I wanted to share my wonderful experience with other people and tell them what a special doctor he is! During the initial consultation, I was very nervous. Dr. Mino was so courteous, he took time explaining all the details and spent a significant amount of time listening to me and answering my questions and was very respectful in regard to how to approach the moment where he had to examine my breast. I am a very sensitive and modest person and in the past 100% would choose a female doctor but he made me feel very much at ease, he had 2 female assistants in the room and was so very gentle it broke all the barriers and concerns I had prior meeting with him. I definitely have a very special place in my heart for my wonderful surgen Dr. Matthew Joseph Mino. No other doctor I feel would be so courteous, so sensitive, supportive, and reassuring. I went into the surgery knowing 100% I am in great hands, and I trusted my surgeon with my life. His bedside manner is outstanding. I will happily recommend Dr. Mino to my family and friends, or to anyone I will ever meet who suffers with similar issues I did. Him and his team changed my life. While I was still in the post-surgical recovery room, he came and set by me, checking how I felt and if there were any concerns I had he could help me with. His gentle and respectful approach, in addition to being a highly experienced surgeon, makes him one of the best doctors I had in my life. I want to give my appreciation to the entire team, Christina, and another lady (I apologize, I am terrible with names - she has red hair) who was also always present in the room. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Alyssa is the best to work with to schedule a follow-up appointment that fits best with my schedule. Thank you all so much. In the past, i worked at Honor Health Heart and Lung surgical group, where I thought Dr. Robert Riley won the trophy to be the doctor you would trust to take your mother to. But my own special Dr. Mino is right up there. He is very special and any patient who ends up having Dr. Mino, as their surgeon, is blessed with one of the best doctors in the field. I feel very grateful and lucky I found him. Thank you very much.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Mino and his team. The ladies that work the front desk are always so kind and make you feel welcome. Dr. Mino was clear about expectations from surgery and what the healing process would entail. A surgery that I was so nervous about turned into something so positive from the experience I had at Southwest Breast! I am now fully healed and so thankful that I was able to work with them during this time and the results turned out fabulous!! Wonderful doctors, nurses and staff. 10/10! :)

Dr Zakhary is amazing! He is kind, listens, he’s humble and truly cares about his patients. My breast surgeon, nurses, and even my physical therapist are all amazed when they see the work he’s done. I’m healing great and cannot wait for phase 2. I’m so blessed to have been referred to Dr Zakhary by my breast surgeon. He uses his talent to help cancer survivors feel whole and beautiful again. I am a patient of Dr.Zakhary and I am very happy with my breast reconstruction that he has done. I am a breast cancer patient and had a total mastectomy a year prior. I explained all my concerns to Dr.Zakhary and he was patient and very understanding with me. I never felt rushed,and he answered all my questions. He has really changed my life.
