Dr. Glazer is the only board-certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon in Porter and LaPorte counties. He attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2006. He continued at Johns Hopkins, where he did his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with advanced training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 2006-2012. He started his career in 2012 working with the Franciscan Physicians Network. Dr. Glazer has offices in both Chesterton and Michigan City. Board certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, he is among an elite group of only 1,000 surgeons worldwide. He has written numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in his fields of expertise.

Dr. Glazer's practice encompasses all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the head, face and neck including significant training and experience in caring for patients with hair loss and the art of hair transplantation. His expertise in facial rejuvenation includes facelifts, eyelid lifts, neck lifts, liposuction of the neck, functional and cosmetic nasal surgery, and minimally-invasive procedures such as cosmetic injectables and skin care regimens to combat the effects of aging. In addition, Dr. Glazer has a strong interest in the treatment and care of patients with skin cancer and defects related to skin cancer of the face, neck and scalp.

Dr. Glazer serves on the board of the LaPorte County Medical Society, on the board of the Franciscan Alliance Foundation, and the board of the Open Door Community Alliance.
