About Dr. Singleton

Dr. Singleton had an early introduction to the wonders of medicine with several childhood orthopedic injuries. After multiple surgeries to set bones and repair ligaments, he found a love for medicine and specifically surgery. He saw first-hand how surgery could improve quality of life and he knew he wanted to help others in the same way. He chose to specialize in facial plastic surgery because the face is the first thing people see and it makes a lasting impression. He loves helping patients improve their lives by changing how they look and feel.

Dr. Singleton received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received a master’s degree in Biophysiology from Georgetown University. Dr. Singleton then attended medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine, one of the area’s top medical schools.  He left the D.C. area and went to Tennessee for his medical residency at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, where he was trained extensively in Head and Neck Surgery. After medical school and residency, he furthered his surgical training with a highly competitive fellowship at The Maas Clinic in San Francisco, California.

In addition to exemplary training in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Singleton is an experienced medical presenter, sharing his insights with others at presentations around the country. He has also contributed to various medical publications and contributed a chapter on chemical peels to a textbook about facial plastic surgery.
