Dr. Stephen R. Kay is a native of Washington, DC and has been practicing cosmetic plastic surgery for over 25 years. He performs a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures for the body, breasts and face.

Dr. Kay is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College and trained in General Surgery at New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. Following residency training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami, he was selected for the prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery with Dr. Paul Tessier in Paris, France.

Dr. Kay is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and his areas of specialization include cosmetic facial rejuvenation, breast and body re-contouring. He has lectured, authored articles, and contributed to books on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. His current hospital and out-patient facility privileges include Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital, and The Surgery Center of Chevy Chase.

Dr. Kay was very knowledgeable and open-minded. But mostly, he is an ethically driven and humble man. He took a lot of his time just to get to know the background and history of my life to be able to assess and assist me with the most suitable options. He went above and beyond to try to help me using the least aggravating means, both medically and financially. From personal experience, I find he's one of the few good doctors left, but he's a lot more optimistic than myself and doesn't think so!

My experience with Dr. Kay was wonderful. He is a caring physician who truly cares for his patients. He explained the total procedure and answered all my questions so that I would understand exactly what was taking place. Before the procedure he was there to greet me and assure me and after the procedure he made several calls to follow-up with me to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Kay is an outstanding plastic surgeon. He has done a complete neck and face lift for me as well as my eye lids. He could not have done a more perfect job. He was caring and comforting and the entire experience was outstanding. I highly recommended Dr. Kay.

Dr. Kay is an excellent doctor I have ever meet. He is very thorough, he really cares about his patients and spends time explaining things. He is very professional with high skills.in my opinion Dr. Kay has boost the fat transfer technology by bringing natural result I am very glad and satisfied with result. Oh! how did I forget Nancy, works on the front desk she is very sweet, kind and welcoming, I am always happy to see her.

Dr. Kay is an excellent plastic surgeon, I am extremely happy with the results. Before and after the procedure, Dr. Kay was extremely attentive, generous with his time and I was treated not as another patient, but as a family member.
