Michael DePerro IIIDr

Dr. Michael DePerro is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is happy to make his home in Columbus. He was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio and takes great pride in his home state and his Midwestern roots. His mother was a school teacher, and his father has been a dentist in Youngstown for over 40 years. He has three older sisters, so it’s safe to say he learned at a young age how to “listen” to the concerns of women. His sisters are all married, and he has eight nieces and nephews. He proudly self-proclaims himself as the “World’s Greatest Uncle.”

Dr. DePerro chose to continue his specialty training in plastic surgery at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. He trained for three years with some of Ohio’s most accomplished plastic surgery groups. He spent time at Akron City Hospital, Akron General Medical Center, Akron Children’s Hospital, and the Cleveland Clinic. At the 2014 American Society of Plastic Surgeons annual meeting in Chicago, Dr. DePerro’s paper on breast reductions was awarded the top resident prize of “Best Paper and Presentation.” Dr. DePerro successfully passed his Plastic Surgery written and oral boards on his first attempt and is a board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
