Had a breast reduction and got the results of my dreams! Dr Costas is a real professional with fantastic bedside manner, recovery was smoother than I could have expected, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I cannot recommend Dr. Costas for any sort of nasal surgery. Despite his arrogance, he does not have enough knowledge of nasal anatomy to effectively perform nose surgery. I got a combination septoplasty + rhinoplasty done by Dr. Costas six years ago and the result was a severely pinched tip, excessive scar tissue, collapsed middle vault, nasal synechiae, and 100% blockage of my right nostril. Dr. Costas didn't note these issues in any post-op appointments. In fact, when I pointed that my septum had become visibly more deviated since the surgery and I still couldn't breathe through it, Dr. Costas replied, "Nope, doesn't look deviated to me! Try using some Afrin." After moving away from MA, I consulted with two different facial plastic surgeons in Houston for a revision surgery. Both of them were shocked after inspecting my nose and hearing my experience with Dr. Costas. To fix my nose, I had to get a full reconstruction with three cadaver cartilage grafts. The first thing my new surgeon said in my first post-op appointment was that my nose was an absolute mess. This new surgeon, who has performed hundreds of revision rhinoplasties, remarked that I would get the award for the most deviated septum he has seen. He also said that my primary rhinoplasty had caused an immense buildup of dense scar tissue. In the OR notes, it was written that my tip cartilages were previously cut down to less than 2mm wide-- this is insanely thin, especially for a male nose, and shows that Dr. Costas barely had a clue what he was doing. I wish Dr. Costas had been honest with me by admitting that he was not qualified to do my surgery. Instead, he doomed me with a future $14,000+ medical bill, a permanently weaker nose, and several years of 50% breathing capacity.

He don't listen, he left fatty tissue in one of my breast that was ruptured and refused to write it down on paper, I felt like he had something against me, after the surgery and talked around the ruptured implants, that another man broke by kicking me in the chest, therefore I couldn't prove to the courts that they were ruptured, because he refused to put it down on paper. Then when I called him and told him that one was still hurting, his reply was, well come back in and I'll remove them for you. After I just paided cash money to have them removed and replaced. I felt so disrespect after he did my surgery, he would not help me prove my case by writing down the truth and one brest is still messed up because he didn't do his job right Doctors that do removal and replacements, know they have to remove the fatty tissue and he did not do that

Dr. Costas himself is an excellent surgeon, however his office is very outdated in terms of patient care. The admins and assistants are not interested in patient care and safety. They are lazy and refuse to do their job. They forced me to pay $16,000 out of pocket for surgery or cancel last minute. Then 2 months after surgery- still, they are refusing to process my paperwork to be reimbursed by the insurance company. They blamed me for this because there was a change in my insurance- however, I spoke to multiple additional professionals who advised me I should not be at fault. No one deserved to be treated like this- you can get surgery with good results from someone who actually cares about you. Dr. Costas might be that guy, but his team is NOT. Choose carefully. good luck
