Dr. Vanek is a philanthropist and humanitarian, and has been honored by the American Red Cross for his relief work in Haiti. He is highly involved in the community, serving as past campaign chairman for United Way, and on various boards and committees.

Personally, he is a gardener (particularly fond of orchids), an excellent marksman, an avid cyclist and mountain climber (including Mt. Kilimanjaro), and a proud Eagle Scout.

I had surgery in February and have been extremely pleased with the outcome and the care provided by Dr. Vanek and his team. The post op massage has been a huge part of my recovery. I tried the 30 minute timeframe and quickly realized I needed one hour for each session to maximize my healing. I had significant swelling in my arms that was reduced each time I completed a massage treatment. Kayla has working to assure the massages are helpful and address the swelling concerns. She really cares to make sure the experience is as relaxing and therapeutic as possible. At 6 weeks post op, I had a problem with some pain that was new and frightened me in the middle of the night so I called and spoke with Dr. Vanek who quickly arranged for me to see him within 45 minutes on a Sunday at 9am. I never experienced this level of caring and compassion from a physician in my life. His concern is genuine and he takes this passion to the treatment he provides. I could not have dreamed of a better experience or better care than I have received thus far - so much, that I am going back for another procedure in April. I highly recommend you seek treatment from Dr. Vanek and his team if you ever choose to look and feel better about yourself. I am thankful I chose this highly skilled competent caring man as my doctor! THANK YOU!

I had a brow lift in order to help my chronic migraines. Dr Vanek & Mindy went ABOVE & BEYOND any of my expectations! I was nervous about getting the surgery as my migraines were 100% debilitating! I have suffered from migraines for over 40 years! I had my surgery on Aug 21, 2024. I have had only one major migraine since surgery which was due to the fact that my Vyepti (migraine medication infusion) was delayed 3 weeks; error was on the part of the infusion center. Once I received my infusion, I went right back to being migraine free! Never in a million years would I have thought/believed I would live a migraine-free daily life! I still get headaches but not full-blown migraines! Trust Mindy & the process & Dr. Vanek! You CAN GET YOUR LIFE BACK! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Note: Dr. Vanek has miraculously recruited and hired the most dynamic staff! I am a Jersey-girl and somewhat hard to impress however this team is indescribable! The compassion they have for others is basically red carpet treatment! You will think you are in Beverly Hills/Rodeo Drive! Do NOT price shop! Go to somebody 100% reliable. You will thank yourself 100x over! Namaste!

I had a Breast augmentation June of 2023 with Dr. Paul Vanek. Absolutely adore him! He is very passionate in his line of work. My only regret is not getting two different size CC’s to make my breasts even. I also did not like his at the time (now retired) assistant. She kinda rushed the entire process for me and seemed a little checked out but overall it was not that big of a deal! I’d give 5 stars other than the assistant at the time. But, overall amazing experience. I also want to add the day of my surgery Dr, Vanek was super sweet, and did not make me feel uncomfortable at all.

I have had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Vanek and all of his staff since my decision to pursue cosmetic surgery. I recommend them to everyone I know and if I plan to have any other procedures or treatments done in the future, I will be doing it with Dr. Vanek and his staff!

I highly recommend Dr. Vanek and Mentor Plastic Surgery for your plastic surgery needs. Dr. Vanek and his team made me feel like family and went the extra mile to make the entire process a pleasant one. From my first consultation to my last aftercare visit, they ensured every question and concern was addressed promptly. My procedure was performed at a nearby hospital where the staff was excellent. My results look very natural with incision lines that are nearly invisible. I was initially worried about choosing the right doctor, but soon after the procedure I knew I had made the right choice... It's truly difficult to find doctors that are genuinely interested in providing the best patient experience. Dr. Vanek and his team do just that.
