Dr. Shafqat is an amazing surgeon. After loosing 125 lbs. I had a large amount of extra skin. My thighs were the first thing I wanted fixed. I did my research and so glad I went with Dr Shafqat. The results are amazing. I am less than 2 weeks post op and I am beyond thrilled with my results. I'm my opinion he is the Best. When I am all healed we will be addressing my other concerns

People were punctual, knowledgeable, informative, and efficient. I did a 4-appoinment workup between 8:30a and 12:25pm, learned a lot, and came away reassured about my fitness for bariatric surgery. HOWEVER, I MUST THROW SOME FLAMES AT WHOEVER FURNISHED THE FACILITY!! Although all waiting area and office seating is appropriately width un-restricted and sturdy, it is also all sized low sitting ~17" off the floor, max. This is torture for people of significant height (I am 6'8"), and even for average height folks who may be experienced joint pain (probably all bariatric patients). Several clinicians agreed with my objections and actually encouraged me to write this review. Although I am specifically discussing July 3 in Cortlandt Manor, the same holds true in Farmington CT office. Office manager,: get a few new tall orthopedics waiting chairs. Your dealer will know exactly what I am talking about. And loosen up a little. Real humans always throw off the feng shui. Make people happy. Don't make them hurt more!

Amazing visit. Arrived earlier than appt time, receptionists friendly and reassuring. Was processed and given a room. Seen 5 mins after my scheduled appt time. Medical assistant was very friendly and the surgeon had an excellent bedside mannerism. Very thorough and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!

NYBG Plastics is like my second family. From Dr Small to the PAs, Med Techs to Front Desk staff; they welcome you each time like you’ve known them forever. Being a long time patient and seeing my progress excites the staff just as much as it excites me. Dr Small is always super responsive via email with any little question or concern. They’re a get it done staff, and in the best way possible. Fighting for their patients, ensuring quality care and constant support is what makes this life changing decision that much easier.
