Dr. Martin specializes in Aesthetic surgery of the Face, Breast, and Body as well as Complex Breast reconstruction. She has a particular interest in Aesthetic surgery of the face, full facial rejuvenation, and microsurgical breast reconstruction.

Dr. Martin was born and raised in Fort Payne, Alabama. 

She attended Auburn University where she received a BS in Biomedical Sciences as well a BA in Spanish. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with both degrees all while performing with the Tiger Eyes in the Auburn University Marching Band and performing research at the school of Veterinary Medicine. 

From here Dr. Martin attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham for Medical School where she started working with the division of Plastic Surgery performing research and learning her passion for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Martin then completed her internship in General Surgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and her General Surgery Residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tulane is one of the oldest and most prestigious programs in the country and continues to graduate leaders in the field of general surgery. Here, Dr. Martin trained in not only trauma surgery but also surgical oncology including Melanoma and Breast Oncology. 

Dr. Martin then completed her Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Geogia. Emory continues to be a powerhouse program for Breast Reconstruction and in the finesse of facial rejuvenation.
