Dr. Michael Tolson is a cosmetic surgeon who gives his patients the highest quality, individualized, cosmetic care available. He takes his more than 25 years of plastic surgery experience and combines it with training from top schools to produce specific, comprehensive, cosmetic plans for each patient. Through a blend of both plastic surgical techniques and non-invasive treatments, Dr. Tolson treats each patient on an individual basis, seeking to develop the treatment plan that is right for each person.

Dr. Tolson’s skill in plastic surgery is a direct reflection of the devotion he has to achieving the individual goals of each patient. Upon beginning his private practice in 1989, his primary focus for all patients has been to create a plan of care tailored to the individual. That process begins with personalized consults and continues with support from him and his highly trained staff before, during and well after their surgery. Today his surgical practice continues to grow through the recommendation of patients to their friends and family.

Dr. Tolson understands that hospitals can be cold and sterile feeling, lacking the personal touch. He has his own AAAASF-certified surgical facility which allows him to provide top-notch, private care for each and every patient while ensuring his or her safety and comfort. His staff are both well-trained and friendly, providing patients with a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Having begun his medical journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, he went on to study medicine, earning his doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia, the state’s medical flagship school. Dr. Tolson completed his surgical residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. After receiving his board certification in surgery in 1987, he went on to complete a plastic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York, which is known for its plastic surgery department, and opened his private practice in 1989.
