HB Shih Plastic Surgery is the private practice of Dr. Hubert Shih. Dr. Shih attended Stanford University for his undergraduate education. He then went on to UCLA for medical school before returning to Stanford for the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency. In his ultimate year, he served as Chief Resident, which is simply a title given to all surgical specialty residents in the final year of training. 

Unbeknownst to many, a surgeon’s skill oftentimes has very little relation to his/her resume. Surgical judgement, dedication, integrity, technical ability, communication, and in the case of cosmetic plastic surgery, an artistic eye, are all important but difficult to capture on paper.
