First of all, I'm currently going through breast cancer treatment & there's more behind the story & finally making the step to getting an appt w/ Dr. Potter than I can write, but lets just say that making that phone call to Dr. Potter's office was a big step for me that he showed did not matter to him.. I saw Dr. Potter on June 25th. My husband & I waited well over an hour past my appt time, as do a lot, if not all of his patients, when you read his reviews...that's not the problem. I get that he's busy. What I don't get is when you're a cancer treatment patient, as in currently going through treatment, & you come in to see Dr. Potter & he asks you point blank for your "plan." As in, what is it that you're looking for him to do. That's what I came to him to discuss. I had questions that I needed answers to & all he wanted was my plan. I didn't have a plan. I had no idea what was available or if I was even going to have anything done I was dealing w/ a partial mastectomy that was done for (basically) no reason & having breast cancer at the same time. Nonetheless, a 'plan' was devised & Dr. Potter said he was going to talk w/ my oncology dr & call me in a week. He did speak w/ my chemo dr, but I never got a call back. I waited another 2+ wks & then I called his office. Naturally, reception sounded surprised. I was told that he was w/ a patient, but as soon as he was out that he would call me back. This has been 3+ wks since I left that msg. Eight wks in total to wait on a dr...a dr who apparently does not wish to help. A dr who does not understand what his patient is going through & does not understand his code of ethics & do what he says he's going to do.

I was told by other medical professionals that I had the best plastic surgeon for breast reconstruction surgery. So far, my experience with Dr. Potter has been very positive. He listens and answers all of my questions. On one examination, he said he will work his magic on me. Now that gives a woman who had a double mastectomy a lot of hope and encouragement. I had to go the expander route with my reconstruction. It is a long process, but I am very confident that it will be well worth the wait.

I have been a patient of Dr. Potter for over 2 years and he performed 3 reconstructive surgeries. If I had to describe him in one word, it would be exceptional. His skill as a surgeon is incredible, but it is his supportive care, encouragement & reassurance that is one of the best I have ever experienced. He takes time to explain things, he is considerate of your fears and is available to you as you go through the process. His staff was always courteous and helpful. You can trust he will do the best solution for you. I would highly recommend Dr. Potter. He was amazing and put my health first. If I ever need a plastic surgeon in the future, he would be my #1 pick!

I absolutely love Dr Potter and his staff. I started seeing him 2021 and I just had the big reconstruction surgery at the end of October. When you have a surgeon that takes his own calls after hours and comes to see his patient on Saturday and Sunday, that’s a good Dr! The whole staff is wonderful and I will forever remind them of that when I see them

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Potter and his staff. Dr. Potter is patient, professional, very talented and he listens. The first opinion I got the doctor suggested a procedure that would’ve endangered my health. I wasn’t aware of the possible consequences until I met with Dr. Potter who refused to do that procedure and gave me the facts. After three surgeries of fat grafting to correct a birth defect, I have never looked better. I am so happy with the results I would never go anywhere else for my PS needs. It has changed my life. I would normally always encourage second opinions but when it comes to plastic surgery, you would just be wasting your time. Thank you Dr. Potter and staff- they are truly the best!
