I am very satisfied with the procedure that was performed but the front desk is the ABSOLUTELY the worst with the exception of on one kind lady. I apologize to the lady at the front desk for giving her a hard time because my employer was giving me a hard time for paperwork that should have been filled out by the staff and her response was " oh you can't give me no hard time I will just look at the caller ID and don't answer" I was so shocked, and I couldn't say anything because I needed the requested documentation. As of today, after surgery and returning back to work tomorrow I called to make an appointment because for some reason I am having pain and could not get an appointment because they are booked which is crazy, If a patient ( that had surgery) is asking for an appointment because he/she is in pain I would think it would be important to make sure he/she is seen, not at this office you will get excuse after excuse for the horrible care. Again, the Dr perform very well it is the front desk with the lack of concern or care for you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Drove 3 hours away to have consultation done for a panniculectomy that was going to be filed through Insurance. I was advised during my visit that the process of filing would take around a month as far as claims being sent to insurance and me receiving a decision back. I called insurance after my 3 weeks and was told that the claims was never sent off to be process. I called this office several times to see why the claims was never sent off and kept being told that I was waiting on the Dr. to sign off on paperwork. After patiently waiting another week I followed up to call office back to speak to one of the ladies of the front desk staff whom processes claims and I was told the first time that she was on the phone with a patient and to call back around lunch...I proceeded to call back around lunch and was then told that she stepped away from her desk and she would give me a call back... I called the office back around 20 mins before closing and was told that she had left from having the Flu virus... I was really upset and thought that this office was very unprofessional.... I was also falsely told that the Dr. would give me a call back and never received a call.... He has very very unprofessional front desk and office staff... I also was charged a co-pay and billed for a visit that was never sent off to claims after immediately canceling my appointment. I would never want anyone to operate neither be in the care of me with such unprofessionalism. I cannot say that Dr. J Hopkins was rude at all he was very nice when meeting him overall but his staff is a horrible team and he needs to reconsider his office staff... This definitely brings down a business.. This is coming from a Nurse.... Beware you all

Dr. Hopkins is incredibly knowledgeable, Professional, down to earth GREAT bedside manners and took the time to answer all my questions. His not only a skilled professional Triple Board Certified but also compassionate. I felt genuinely cared for during my visit. I am so Grateful that I chose Dr. Hopkins for my procedure. He over did an amazing job on my Panniculectomy with Adbdominalplasty. I have no regrets. I cannot Thank you enough Dr. Hopkins you brought my confident level back up. To his entire Team Aletha, Samantha and his Nurse Katie I love love y’all. You guys are the sweetest ever. Thank you for everything and making this process so smooth and easy for me. You guys are very respectful, dedicated and friendly efficient. I had a great experience. Prompt Service and a welcoming atmosphere and a very nice and clean up scale office. The attention to detail in patient care is evident and is what we need here in Texas. I strongly and highly recommend. And I will be back for my dimples. See you guys soon. I give 10 STARRS plus more if i could Thank you again and may God bless you all. Respectfully, Brittanie Smith-Williams

I really wanted to get the same experience other people experienced with Dr. Hopkins but unfortunately his front office staff has prevented that. I completed out the online form to get a consultation but got no response & its been over almost 2 weeks. I called the office last week & provided my insurance information for the lady to check. She said she would call me back but guess what? Nothing! I have even had my insurance directly call the office to confirm whether or not Dr. Hopkins still accepts my insurance & once again, they stated they would call the patient (me) to give me an update yet I have heard NOTHING from them!! It really shouldn’t be this difficult & the front staff should have a list readily available noting what current insurance plans are accepted. Now I’m back to searching for another surgeon! Update: Ironically I received a call from the office right after this was posted to give them a callback. For what exactly? I no longer have interest as I stated. Yet their Google response states they don’t have records of anything.

Id like to take a few minutes to thank and talk about Dr. Hopkins and his staff. I visited several plastic surgeons prior to meeting Dr. Hopkins. He was the most thorough, complete and meticulous of them all. On the day of my procedure he was again very professional and thoughtful and put me at ease. If I was to have additional work I would diffidently go to Dr.Hopkins. There are many PS that may do it for less, however I trust Dr.Hopkins and well worth the extra expense.
