With a board certification in dermatology, her academic journey includes high honors from Pennsylvania State University and a doctorate in medicine from the University of California, Irvine. Her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey solidified her reputation, earning her the Intern of the Year award. Dr. Badreshia-Bansal's expertise spans cosmetic and clinical dermatology, specializing in treatments for ethnic skin, hair disorders, and body contouring, and her contributions to dermatological literature and presence in media outlets, like The New York Times, underscore her standing in the field.

Her professional role extends into academia and community service. As an international speaker, Dr. Badreshia-Bansal advocates for advanced skin care and patient-centric care, and her membership in prestigious dermatology organizations reflects her commitment to the field. Dr. Badreshia-Bansal has collaborated with her husband on several community outreach projects. Dr Badreshia-Bansal is an author to over a dozen medical publications, a co-editor to a medical textbook on ethnic skin, and a speaker at national and international academic conferences.
