Dr. R. William Thompson, M.D., is a facial plastic surgeon in Denver focusing on facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries who takes great pride in achieving impressive and natural surgical results for his patients. He also specializes in non-invasive procedures of the face, such as BOTOX and fillers.

After completing his residency in head and neck surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Thompson pursued additional specialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He was one of only forty-nine surgeons in the country to be accepted into a fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). During his fellowship, Dr. Thompson trained under the guidance of Dr. Stephen Smith, an AAFPRS fellowship director, and leading facial plastic surgeon. It was during this time that Dr. Thompson developed expertise in a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including facelifts, nose jobs, eyelid surgery, and minimally invasive and in-office procedures like Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and lasers. 

Dr. Thompson is board-certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He specializes in a wide range of cosmetic treatments and procedures, including Botox, dermal fillers, rhinoplasty, facelifts, neck lifts, eyelid surgery, and more. He also offers medical treatments and procedures like skin cancer and Mohs reconstruction, facial trauma surgery, and treatment for migraines.
