As a child and student, Dr. Scott D. Chapin was fascinated by how the body works. During his surgical rotations, he could see he was providing a service to his patients that had a tangible outcome. Then, when he discovered plastic surgery, he knew he was hooked. Dr. Chapin’s enthusiasm for plastic surgery was confirmed following a complex breast reconstruction surgery that utilized the patient’s abdominal tissue in the recreation of a new breast. Seeing such artful and life-changing results ignited Dr. Chapin’s desire to help patients accomplish their aesthetic goals with plastic surgery.
Through his nearly 30 years of extensive plastic surgery experience, Dr. Chapin has developed the perfect blend of medical science, artistry, and humanity that he provides in every procedure he performs.
