Dr. Marc Klein is a board-certified plastic surgeon who moved his practice (Marc Klein, PC) to Southern Plastic Surgery in August 2025. He has been helping patients accomplish their aesthetic goals for over 27 years. Dr. Klein is known for his ability to offer frank, compassionate advice, and help patients achieve outstanding, natural-looking plastic surgery results. This is precisely why he was such a natural fit here at Southern Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Klein was inspired to become a plastic surgeon after experiencing a burn at the age of six and seeing firsthand the impact that truly caring and expert healthcare professionals and plastic surgeons can have. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Duke University with honors and then attended Rutgers Medical School where he graduated in the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Society. Dr. Klein completed a six-year residency in general surgery at the University of Maryland, followed by a two-year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Klein was a research fellow in plastic surgery during his general surgery residency, and a trauma fellow at the prestigious Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital. He has published articles and participated in plastic surgery research. Dr. Klein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS).

Over the years, Dr. Klein has developed a reputation with patients as a supportive, empathetic partner, and someone who can be depended on to help each patient achieve their unique aesthetic goals.

Dr. Klein is passionate about embracing new techniques and technologies to enhance aesthetic results in the safest possible environment possible for his patients. Though he primarily focuses on cosmetic surgery procedures, especially cosmetic breast surgery and body contouring, Dr. Klein does have considerable experience with reconstructive surgery as well. This includes trauma care related to soft tissue reconstruction and maxillofacial fractures. He also performs facial procedures and is a skilled facial injector.
