I visited Dr McInnes 2 days ago for a consultation re a growth on the lower liner of my eye & early this morning I had it surgically removed. “So fast?” one might think? I agree, but obviously I felt safe & comfortable with Dr. McInnes . I did from the moment I walked into his awesome office, clean, comfortable & such a great vibe! Staff were very friendly & reassuring. You’ll absolutely love Dr. McInnes, he’s such a kind & gentle human. He has a vast amount of experience & offers so many procedures in his office. He gained my trust within the first few minutes at my consultation. Thank you Dr. McInnes & staff, for taking such good care of me :)

My short interaction with them left me feeling like I don’t ever wanna do business with them. They wanted $500 to do a simple removal of what is essentially a white head underneath my eye. I went to my dermatologist who did it for $60 (there was no pain meds needed, no numbing necessary, no stitches required, and it took less than five minutes ). I was going to just leave it at that but I just received a bill from what I thought was supposed to be just a consultation. I paid my $20 office visit co-pay and figured we were done. This bill says they charged my insurance $70 to take a picture of the pinhead-sized blemish, and even more to do a “work up“ to let me know how much it would cost to have this removed. I was never told that there would be any other expense involved, nor was I asked if they could do anything on me that would cost me anything other than the consultation. When I called their office to ask about this, they sent me to their billing company, which is convenient because the billing company can’t waive any fees. They just tell you what your insurance paid for and what you are responsible to pay. I feel misled and cheated.

Watch out. They require a lot of personal financial information, such as Social Security Numbers (you and spouse), bank information, and other information...

I was hesitant to have this upper and lower eye surgery done but decided to do it for my 75th birthday. Dr McInnes' office and staff were most welcoming and friendly. He was exceptional. Gave me a thorough eye exam and explained the procedure. Paramount Surgery center put me at ease and made me comfortable. I was given instructions for post op care. Eye drops and pain meds all were effective..Bruising and swelling were expected. Healing took longer than expected, about 8 weeks to really see a difference. It was so worth it. I am so happy with the results. Post op.went well, no problems. I would highly recommend Dr McInnes. He is excellent and so is his team

I recently underwent surgery to correct my age related drooping eyelids, performed by Dr. Alan McInnes. The entire process, from evaluation to post surgical follow up was exceptionally pleasant and easy. Dr. McInnes' entire staff were friendly and competent and made each visit enjoyable. My pre and post surgical instructions and check list, assembled in a high quality folder, were easy to understand and follow. Dr. McInnes is personable, confident and obviously very experienced. He answers questions candidly and with obvious care. His expertise in his field is evident and I am more than pleased with the outcome of my surgery. My field of vision is much improved and I am pleased with the aesthetics. My eyes appear healthy and natural for a man my age, with no hint of cosmetic surgery having been performed. If your vision is being impaired, or if your facial aesthetics are being adversely affected by drooping eyelids, by all means contact Dr. McInnes. The Boise, ID area is indeed fortunate to have an occulofacial surgeon of his professional standing!

I think Dr. McInnes is a very talented plastic surgeon who has a quick temper and a giant ego. I won't go back.
